FAQs

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?

A. All in stock items will be dispatched from our warehouse within 2 business days of payment. A delivery advice notice including your courier tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has been processed so you can obtain a delivery ETA.

Q. Can you deliver to Post Office boxes?

A. No. Couriers can only delivery to a physical address.

Q. What if no one is available to accept / sign for the delivery?

A. One delivery attempt is included in the delivery fee. Deliveries are performed during business hours only therefore a business address is preferred. Orders of 5 or more bamboo panels will be palletized (over 15 panels for Melbourne metro areas) and someone must be available to accept delivery, to inspect the goods to ensure they have been delivered in good order and assist the driver to unload the panels. Failure to be available at the delivery address if required will result in goods being returned to Carma Living or the nearest courier depot (if applicable) and will result in any additional delivery charges being paid prior to a subsequent delivery being arranged. Failure to arrange and pay for the subsequent delivery charges will result in the transaction being canceled and a refund less return delivery charges and the applicable re-stocking fee being reduced from the refund owing.
All goods must be inspected for insurance cover to apply and any damage must be noted beside the signature and reported to Carma Living within 24 hours with photos to support any claims. For orders under 5 panels, at checkout please advise where goods can be safely left if no one is available to accept delivery. The location must be convenient, within close proximity to the front of the property and be free of obstacles such as stairs / gates. Authority to leave goods voids any insurance cover for loss or damage so we recommend buyers check the online tracking details to track their order and be available on day of delivery to inspect and accept the goods.


Q. Do your products come with a warranty?

A. All our products come with a 12 month warranty against manufacturer related faults. Please refer to our refunds and warranty page for further information.

Q. Do you offer discounts for bulk bamboo orders

A. As the manufacturer we sell direct to the general public at below wholesale prices. A small discount is available to trade only for orders of 100+ panels. Our manufacturing team in Indonesia hand craft our panels exclusively for Carma Living and our quality control standards are very high. We use environmentally products only e.g. thick bamboo backing slats compared to timber slats which are susceptible to termites and rot. We also use thicker coconut rope or thick galvanized steel in all our panels to ensure the long life of the product. As an example, Bunnings are reported to sell an inferior product for $80+ in the 1.8m x 0.9m standard 3 rope panels, compared to $30+ for our 1.8m x 1m superior panel.

Q. When should bamboo rejuvinator be applied?

A. Our panels are double lacquered for a premium high glass finish using an eco-friendly water based lacquer (non-UV rated). To protect your panels against fading we strongly recommend applying a clear coat of Bamboo Rejuvinator prior to or shortly after installation to protect the panels from UV rays if installing in an area that is exposed to sun.
Bamboo Rejuvinator is available in clear and brown (restores faded bamboo) via our website in 2L and 4L tins.
